Deepak is Alumnus IIT- Khargapur and a seasoned agricultural engineer and climate expert with a strong academic foundation and a wealth of professional experience in sustainable rural development. He holds an M.Tech in Water Resources Management from IIT Kharagpur and a B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering from MGCGVV. His academic excellence is further highlighted by his GATE-2007 All India Rank of 192 and his NET-2018 ASRB.
Professionally, Deepak has made significant contributions as a Development Organiser (Technical) at Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) in Dharampuri, as a Block Coordinator for the C.F.T. Project under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department MP, and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Soil and Water Engineering at Chhattisgarh Agricultural Engineering College, Durg.
Deepakās research is well-recognized, with publications on topics such as wastewater treatment and reuse in irrigation, organic fertilizer effects under drip fertigation, rooftop rainwater harvesting systems, and the role of agricultural mechanization in empowering women. His work has earned him several awards, including recognition as a resource person under the Jal Jeevan Mission and the Best Thesis Award from the Society for Scientific Development in Agriculture & Technology.
